Dresden from a Segway

On Wednesday, I went on the 10am tour with Claudia as guide and four other German tourists. They were all very patient as Claudia took the time to give me the spiel in English after she'd done it in German for the others. Consequently, our three hour tour took four hours.

Claudia in front of the Frauenkirche
Semperoper
Elberadweg, left bank.  The river is really low - officially 58cm
Our first stop, at three castles:
Schloss Albrechtsberg
Lingnerterassen
Schloss Eckberg
The Blue Wonder, built in 1893, around 3.5km from Dresden
Expensive houses in Loschwitz
The Elberadweg
Crossing the Elbe on the Waldschloessenbruecke
View of Dresden from the bridge
The Elberadweg again, on the right bank
Selfie from a Segway!
Linden trees?
Approaching Dresden
Paddlesteamers docked along the river's edge
It's quite easy to ride with no hands
Augustus the Strong (1670-1733), Elector of Saxony
Looking towards Poland (he was King of Poland, too)
Crossing back on the Augustusbruecke
Cobbled streets are the norm, here, too
