On Wednesdays, Caelli has an hour long flamenco lesson. It's not only fitness, it's a social activity as well and adds considerably to her language learning. I went along to three of her classes. I now know how to say "toes" and "stamp" in Spanish - they're the two main steps!
During my second week in Baza, Caelli's teacher, Maribel, invited us along to a flamenco performance she and her dance partner were giving for international students at one of the other secondary schools in Baza. It was a fabulous night!
Afterwards, some of the students volunteered to get up on stage and be taught some flamenco moves. Maribel had spotted Caelli in the audience and she dragged her up, too!

Baza - on the bikes
Caelli has been given a bike to use by the PE teacher at school. I've hired one from a local bike shop (which doesn't actually rent out bikes because no-one has ever asked before......and then he asked us what we should pay for 10 days hire!) Photos from some of our bike rides around Baza.
