Agathenburg - Hamburger Fischmarkt

Last Sunday, Elke took Omran and I to the Fischmarkt in Hamburg, which is popular with both locals and tourists. You can buy almost anything there. It's called the Fischmarkt because it's located where the fishing boats used to sell their catch.

We drove to Finkelwerde, then caught the ferry (on the Elbe River) to the market.

The Queen Mary 2 was in Hamburg

This old warehouse has live music when the market is open
A Mississippi paddlesteamer. Note the name
A very hot day. Swimming in the Elbe was definitely the way to go
"We are Hamburg"
A huge container ship, carrying cars, we think
